The trials are continuing, and we have found a number of small issues
for BT which they are taking up with equipment vendors. This may mean
the trials are extended a few weeks in to August, but we will see how
it goes.

Auto responder feature on the C mail servers

We've added an auto responder feature to the C email servers. The
options are set from the 'Mailbox' page (where you change your Mailbox

More progress on ADSL2+ trials.
During testing there have been a number of issues we have identified
and have been resolved. Today the last two major issues have been fixed
- one a fault on a fibre link and one a problem apparently in the

AboveNet router maintenance: 23rd July early morning

One of out Transit providers, AboveNet, are planning scheduled hardware
maintenance on the 23rd of July. We have 2 other transit providers so
disruption should be minimal.

We are quite pleased to have been in a position to test BT's fault
reporting for the new gigabit links for the ADSL2+ trial.
Fibre faults are very rare indeed. We have never had a fibre fault on
our existing BT Central lines. As such it is not often you get to test
