RSS Feed URLs for Status and Planned Work Pages

Originally we were providing an RSS feed of the Status and Planned work
pages on our servers as the Blogspot service didn't offer this feature.
However for a very long time now 'Blogspot' have been providing Atom

BT have advised they expect the link to us to be live Tuesday Morning.
The prediction is getting more specific we have a day of the week and
even which part of the day now :-)
We'll see. Once this link is live we can order the links for ADSL2+ end

Some slow throughput Saturday night

There were some short periods of a few minutes where throughput was low
yesterday evening at around 18:10 and 19:00 as well as a longer period
from 22:30 to 23:00 and 00:45 to 01:00. During this time customers had

Inbound SMS handling improvements

All of our inbound text services now handle multi-part text messages
(i.e. those longer than the normal 160 characters). These are
reassembled by our end and processed as one long text.
This makes the text to email gateway on 01444666888 much more useful.

ADSL2+ trial update

BT believe they will have the sign off for their Birmingham trial and
so will be moving to start the work on Stepney Green tomorrow.
We also have the link set up in Telehouse North ready for BT.

Outgoing Mail - Refurbishment Update

We recently finished refurbishment work on our outgoing email servers,
and also added a new server to the pool.
We now have 3 outgoing email servers that make up 'smtp.aaisp.net.uk'

Incoming Mail - C Server Update

Following the migration of email accounts on the C server on 26th April
we've now added further servers. The "C Server" is actually many
physical machines, currently 13.
There are now 5 servers handling incoming SMTP connections, 3 of these
are also used for POP3, IMAP ...
