It is actually today that the first Be customer trial lines go on-line.
18 of them today.

Manchester and Reading now fine.
All lines on Faraday RASs bad since 9am and really bad now.

We are aware of serious problems with high latency and low throughput
for hundreds of 20CN lines on Kingston RASs. The problem was severe 9am

We think the upgrade process worked quite well yesterday morning. The
issue with lines not reconnecting was unrelated.
We are therefore looking to upgrade again tonight. The current code
looks to actually address a number of minor issues ...

Once again, following issues on Saturday at 11:00, many lines have
connected to the BT RAS and stuck there and so need a reconnect (e.g.
power cycle router).
If off line on Tuesday morning, please try reconnecting your router
before call ...

Two new features on the control pages:-
95%: This sets the line rate to 95% of BRAS which is useful if you want
us to do the shaping not BT and works well if you use VoIP. Effect is
immediate and no need to PPP restart.

We have our office test line on Be and that is working well.
Its 2km from the exchange and syncing at over 14M down and 2M up on
Annex M 3dB.
We have 20 more lines coming on-line on Tuesday.
We now know the settings are LLC mux, 0/101, P ...
