Update #1: 2009-09-13 10:06 BST
It is worth summarising where we are at the moment with various
services and issues.
1. We have had a good day on 20CN and 21CN where there appear to be no
blips on either for at least 24 hours (planned or unplanned). BT have

Cisco 837 replacement?
Sun, 13 Sep 2009 09:21:09 +0100
Morning all,
my trusty Cisco 837 is starting to behave erratically so I'm considering
a replacement that supports ADSL2+ (which the 837 doesn't). There seem
to be a number of options among Cisco SOHO routers at the moment - does
anybody know offhand what the current 837 equivalent is? I don't need

Update #1: 2009-09-12 20:27 BST
At the request of a customer on irc this afternoon, I looked in to
their line. We officially do 9-5 Mon-Fri support but unoffical support

of the company, sort some suppor ...

Be charges
Sat, 12 Sep 2009 11:08:55 +0100

move to a Be connection.
OK, so I looked at the Be site and I see that their complete retail services
are ¡ê13.50, ¡ê17.50 and ¡ê21.50 per month, presumably inclu ...

Update #1: 2009-09-12 10:41 BST
We have seen a lot of lines (around 500) drop and reconnect on 20CN
around 05:10, 05:35 and 05:47. What is odd is that there is no pattern,
and it looks like they were session killed (the new "Kill (BT)" button
on our control pages).
We ar ...

Update #1: 2009-09-12 10:18 BST
This is a bit of a technical post, and just just to explain what we are
looking at this weekend on the issues Thursday and Friday.
A while ago we had an issue where one of the ports on our "A" LNS (the
port connected to the internet side, ...
