BT have just announced a reduction in one of the components of their
21CN network that will (we expect) lead to a reduction in our costs. We
expect to reduce our prices when this happens.
The price reduction does not take effect until 1st ...

Are they all bollixed up again? My C21N line is showing hours of no
connection today when I had no difficulty in connecting remotely.
Conversely, it shows only intermittent short interruptions for yesterday
when I had no connectivity at all from before 09:00 until mid-evening (when
I powercycled the router).

There are quite a few lines on 21CN-BRAS-RED3-WV (Wolverhampton) that
are currently disconnecting. BT are aware of this and should be fixed
shortly.
This issue will be affecting other ISP's as well as us.[IMAGE]

Lines are now back online.
We're still waiting to hear why the lines went down in the first place.
However the reason they didn't come back as soon as they should was
relating to us setting our side to move lines to our B LNS - the
procedure for this has been updated ...

-if customers want to move to the 'B' LNS before our systems
automatically move you, then you can do so my getting your ADSL router
to re-login. Either by rebooting/restarting it, or clicking the 'Kill
LNS' button on the control pages.

happen between 2 and 6AM (on the 24th September).
