There was some packet loss Friday night which looks like unusually high
20CN evening usage. We regularly review levels we have with BT but they
still take 5 working days to change them so we can get caught out

I feel I've been subsidising the 21CN experiment and suffering the

[Planned] At risk - transit routing changes on Sunday

We are moving one of our transit connections and setting up a new
(FB6000) BGP router on Sunday. This should not cause any problems, but
as with any work on BGP routers there is a risk.
This is part of our work in shutting down racks in HE ...

We have a number of small changes in the LNS and will be moving people
from the "B" LNS to the "A" LNS with later s/w over the weekend. This
will probably be in the early hours Saturday morning. We don't expect
any issues.

Packet loss this evening

I seen various amounts of dripping blood on graphs for multiple 20CN
lines tonight in different parts of the country. At the same time VOIP
was unusable from 19.30 to 20.30 due to voice dropouts. I'm assuming
these are related and my line was essentially nearly idle.
What was the cause of this loss please? ...
