BT are removing a rack full of kit from one of the data centres on
Wednesday.
Our engineers will be on site as well as we still have some equipment
in that rack.

We have identified an issue on one of the routers deployed over the
weekend. We will be doing an update shortly that may affect some
customers with equipment hosted in Harbour Exchange Square briefly (a

Another BT 21CN RAS issue. Chasing.
Only a few lines on that RAS. BT broke all the other ones for around an
hour at 22:40 last night.
I hope they are getting closer to a proper fix for this.[IMAGE]

In theory BT have made a change today taht will stop sessions getting
stuck on 20CN lines. They should automatically un-stick after 10
minutes. We have yet to confirm the change has in fact been made, but
fingers crossed.

We have been gradually working through major changes in BGP in our core
network in London. This is part of the changes because of the new 21CN
links to BT we now have, and shutting down racks in one of the data
centres where the old links us ...

As per planned work we are doing some routing work this morning.
Seems that once again, in spite of careful planning, DNS is playing up,
partly!

A&A SIP VOIP firewall settings?

Can anyone confirm the recommended firewall settings for VOIP gadgets
using A&A's call.me.uk SIP server? Is it just 5060/udp to & from the
SIP server? Assuming I'm not using the ENUM service.

20CN line options: TCP & MTU1492

On the ADSL control panel, there are two tick boxes:
TCP - "TCP MSS Fix for Small MTU"
MTU1492 - "Set effective MTU to 1492"

understand the difference between the two tick boxes.
