No sound on Power Director recordings

I'm archiving some short (2-3min) recordings from my Pace Twin PVR to my
PC using an S-Video lead and red/white audio cables.
I'm using Power Director 3 (came with the PC).
After I've captured 2 recordings, I lose sound on any subsequent
recordings.
Anyone any idea why ? I can't see any settings/preferen ...

'Which?' PVR review

Just reading the Which? pvr review, updated this month which includes toppy,
humax, sky, digifusion and thomson among others and they make the Sagems
Best Buys (scoring just below the toppy). I got the impression (from this
group and elsewhere) that nobody liked the sagems much?

Humax 9200 Over The Air Upgrade This Week

Wow! Did anyone else get some sort of STB (?) message this week
switching-on? It must have been an OTA upgrade and yes, you can
schedule a show, edit the times and RETAIN the original programme name.
That's one bit of change. I don't suppose others noticed any other
changes at all, did you?

Thought the concept of a pvr was great and started to look around, found
great comments about the Topfield pvr, checked out the specs before buying
one (thank goodness) BUT - it appears from the blurb I've read that it will
not (cannot?) record from an external scart input - eg Telewest box or Sky
box? so it ...

Another Satisfied Toppy Customer

Having taken advice on here, I took the plunge and bought a Toppy from
Miller Brothers - 160Gig at 269.99GBP.
Added JAG's EPG and a very satisfied customer who would definitely
recommend to anyone.
The amount of information, the various TAPs which are available on the
web is/are awesome.
