Freeware wanted

I need to transfer some recordings from my Pace Twin HD Recorder to my PC.
Can anyone advise of any Freeware available that will do this.
I have an S Video lead and my computer has the necessary technical
features.

Panasonic seem to really want to conceal the existence of their
DV-B/DVD/HD recorder! It seems to have disappeared from their web
site, so I was searched for in Google. and found an article

Am getting this at the end of the month ready for the World Cup.
Does it have the same facilities as my Tivo - particularly some kind
of Wishlists facility - or am I best off keeping Tivo as well, perhaps
as a separate non-HD setup?

Hi. I use a Sony HDD recorder to record stuff from Sky
Works well using Sky's Autoplanner- the Sony Box records when the
programms are on.. BUT it doesn't work for radio channels (NO EPG for
radio programmes?!)
So is there such a thing as an IR blaster (like the thing TiVO has)

video player degrading sat signal

Hi there
We have a perfect satellite signal with a great picture, however when we
switch the video player on to tape anything the picture degrades very badly
to a really poor analogue type signal with a crappy aerial.
Any ideas what the problem might be? Everything is connected via scarts and
thru a dist ...

Hi, i have a Humax 9200t and i missed the recent 'over the air' software
upgrade on the first of march. my problem is the stodgy and slow to
download electronic program guide.
is there likely to be another over the air upgrade again soon?

When it comes to the techy side of life the MIL often asks me for
assistance and I'm able to give it however in the case of PVRs I'm
afraid it's one technology I just haven't got involved with (yet)... I
don't seem to have the time to watch any TV nevermi ...

Archos and also be able to create and manage a TV Listings.
