whose response ranges from saying its not worth repairing to others who are

Humax PVR-8000T hard drive

I was looking to buy a hard drive as I'm running out of disk space on
my laptop when a friend suggested I purchase a Humax PVR-9200T
instead, with the advantage of Freeview.
Can this PVR be used to store files of any type like a standard USB
hard drive?
Also, I have a lot of AVI files that I plan to transfer ...

"No Information" message.
We wanted to record the Global Warming programme from More 4 tomorrow
(Monday) and got that message.
Firstly, how does the EPG work?
Secondly, what do we need to do?

It appears that the problems I am experiecing downlaoding program data is do
to the ISP blocking ports etc.
Please can someone tell me the IP address and port number/protocols that
Tivo uses to get it data.

wondering if the signal is borderline weak.
Exact symptom: star like pattern on top of the picture without the
