I don't have a TV set, but I have a great monitor, a new 20"
widescreen with VGA and DVI inputs. I currently use a Pinnacle USB
DVB-T stick, and it's pretty much rubbish (as is their support - in
India).

making a DVD+RW to play on normal DVD player

I`m trying to make a DVD disk to play back on a normal DVD player
the player in question is a `Pacific DVD-1002W`
My DVD play's back on my PC was burned using `Nero` software
I`m using a DVD+RW disc should this work OK?

Recommendations wanted for Freeview Hard Disk Recorder

Looking to purchase a Freeview Recorder was thinking of a Daewoo DSD9520
80GB until I looked at some of the owners reviews and all the problems with
the unit.
Are these problems fixed (firmware updates etc. ?) or am I better off with a
different maker.
Any advice or recommendations appreciated.

I'm thinking of getting the TOSHIBA RDXS25 to replace my Thomson PVR /
Freeview and DVD player. Anyone got one? Good points? Bad points? Other one
up for consideration is the Wharfedale DVDRHD400F. Smaller hard drive but 50
quid cheaper. Or are there any where the DVD has 5 channels?

I want to use the HDMI output from my sky digibox to connect to my PC
via a PCIe card or external unit, so that I can record HDTV on my PC.
