Moving house - best Sky deal?

My son will shortly be moving to a new house which already has a Sky
dish and feeder cable that the previous owner had installed. My son
currently subscribes to Sky+ (which he has had for more than the minimum
one year), and he wants to carry on with it when he moves.
What is the best deal is for him ...

Just a quick one I thought you might be interested in.
On Monday at around 6 PM my wife looked at the sky HD box. Everything
appeared fine.
She made sure that something that was recording was actually recording by
going into the planner and started to play it.
Everything was fine.

bought (wrong?) 2 way splitter?

I just got a Labgear 2 way splitter wbs2f at screwfix, wanting it to
split a sat signal to 2 STB, howevr it only seems to output to one of
the branches , the other STB reports no sat signal,
the item in question only takes in power on one of th e outputs , is
that the problem and should i change the unit for ...

Cancelled Direct Debit

Tried several times today to call Sky to cancel my multi room subscription
but got fed up waiting. Got through to someone at 9pm who took all the
details, (why is it you enter your phone number whilst waiting and then have
to give it again) and then she said that the department that handled this
type of reques ...

I just recently did a retune on my digital Terrestrial box, all the
channel numbers for the bbc channels have moved to the 800s, are these
channel numbers set by the bbc?
I have looked for an option to move these in my box settings but cant
find any, so its my thought they are set in stone and I'm out of luck ...
