I live in a conservation area and the local council are starting a purge
on satellite dishes, they have issued enforcement orders against owners of
listed buildings with dishes and apparently intend to move on to the rest
of us.

lost loads of channels since tree awoke, but is it the only cause?

Since the leaves have come out on the big tree our dish peers through, we've
lost a lot of channels, BBC News, Sky One, Channel 4 all just give "no
signal".
Now, the tree caused problems last year but only really in bad weather when
it was windy. Now, even on a still, clear day, we can hardly watch anything!

Amstrad Skybox picture problem

I have just bought a Panasonic lcd tv, and have connected it up to my
old amstrad digibox.
I noticed I was getting no pictures on AV1 (I plugged the digibox scart
into this one)
I checked my satellite RF cable and found out the cable was loose in the
socket, and pushed it back in , and got a picture.

Sky card

Hi
Got sky plus in my lounge working fine,got another feed into my music room
from the LNB with another reciever[not Sky +] with a card all bought from an
auction site.
Worked well for a year but now it won't show Chan.4/5 etc saying the card is
not authorised.

Hard Drive in Sky+ box

I can replace a hard drive in a computer but I've never seen the inside
of a Sky+ box. Mine is very hot on the left hand side and is making a
noise like a fan running. Is the hard drive there? If so how do I
replace it, format it etc, anything else to get it to work. All advice
greatfully received.

My Nov '06 Sky+ box (a Pace) is playing up:
- Choosing to view a recorded program results in no response
- -"- results in a frozen screen with a picture on the last image viewed
