BBC News [formerly BBC News 24] fixed?

I've just checked again with my CX88-based PCI card, and that
transponder (with all the BBC Radio stations and Parliament on it)
seems fine now.
Is that what others are now seeing with their Panasonic digiboxes, Pace
Sky+ boxes, etc?
If so, I'd like to thank the lurker who did a bit of tweaking.

Sky HD Box Scart connections

Hi,
I managed to find a picture of the back of a sky hd box, I was wondering why
it has a 'TV Scart' connection? I thought all channels (sd & hd) was
supposed to be viewed via the hdmi connection.

Availability of the satellite itself

This has just occurred to me, and I can't see anywhere it's been
discussed before. Presumably all of Sky's service is delivered from
one satellite (otherwise we'd have movable dishes)? If that satellite
failed, how long would it take Sky to build and launch a replacement?

Sky HD box crashes

Yesterday I paused the news for a few minutes. When playing it, at the
end of the news, the HD box froze, then switched off with a loud click.
Then tonight I was recording two programmes at once while the box was in

Sky+ System Health Check results

Following 5 days of no signal on Input 1 and Input 2 and consequently no TV,
just called Sky and we went through a System Health check and LNB reset.
The upshot is that an engineer is coming out at no charge, but as a matter
of interest, the result code for the check was "W1H6" and the result on
Inputs 1 & 2 wer ...
