Hi I am thinking of getting Sky+ are there any deals out there. Also will I
be able to use my old Sky box in another room without signing up and paying
for multiroom or will the installers only install two feeds to the Sky+ box
and only install a twin LNB?

Sorry if it's been asked a zillion times before but I can't find any
reference to it, either in this group or in the user manual that came with
it, so here goes:
What is the USB connector for or what can it be used for - this is on the
latest V3 Amstrad box (only installed about a month ago).

Sky box says old card needed for new card

Someone has got an old Sky box out of attic and old card is lost.
Obtained a ftv card and placed in, but box asks for old card to be inserted.
Sky advise him the system needs old card in for a few seconds then
replacement to be put in.
Any way round not having the old card?
