Got a call from Sky (maybe?) today, along the lines of ;
Is that Mr .X ? It's just a courtesy call from Sky to make sure you've
received your new viewing card. And is it working OK ? And your box-----is
that working OK as well ?
It's the last line that got me bothered, was this a genuine call from Sky or

HD box switches itself off

My HD box keeps switching itself off (Thompson one I think)

No live pause on BBC news 24

Its gone, won't let me pause, rewind etc. I get an error on screen to say
live pause not available, call broadcaster. No other channel seems
affected.
Its not the first problem, my box has be gaining problems over the past few
weeks.
Like for example last night I kept having the screen freeze on me total ...

haven;t got one. I was just wondering if mine has gotten lost in the
post or something.
Or should I just sit tight and wait for it or give them a call.

Losing individual channels

Recently sky+ hd box has been dropping individual channels,
today it lost BBC1,3 & 4, BBC2 was fine, all other channels ok. Last week it
was a couple of different channels.
After pwr off / on of the box they reapeared.
Is there any other way of forcing a 'redownload' of channels?
Iffy box?
