Re: help needed on SKY HD signal quality
Sun, 27 Apr 2008 09:58:08 +0100
Thanks to everyone who helped on here. Bought a satellite signal tester and
figured out that the dish had moved (probably in the high winds) and was
slightly lower than it should've been. A wee tweak and it was all back up to
around 70% strength and quality on all 4 LNB's.
Thanks again!

My sky box lately has been getting worse and worse.

Sky HD no signal
Fri, 25 Apr 2008 12:02:51 GMT
Hi Guys
I have Sky HD and my box keeps going off.
It can be often or it may be 6 days no problem.
When it is rebooted ( which it needs 75% of the times it goes off) it
sometimes comes on with the message 'no satellite signal' and the number 29.
This is a problem when this happens. I got it working once ...

SKY/BBC HD on other transponders?
Fri, 25 Apr 2008 00:11:41 +0200
Can anybody give me some pointers please.
My concern is BBC/ITV HD being broadcast into Europe, on anything
other, than the ASTRA2D satellite. For my business, it is important
that no normal BBC or ITV channels (including HD), be broardcast on a
satellite, that makes it easy for people outside of the UK, to rece ...

Thanks for this post. My News 24 channel freezes as well. Thought my box was
broken. All other channels seem to work ok.
Relieved.

Sky+ box dead?!
Wed, 23 Apr 2008 19:35:40 GMT
Hi
Earlier today I found that many channels were either freezing or getting the
"no signal" message.
Now it seems that there appears to be no connection to the TV through the
scart connections. I've tried both sockets on the box but still nothing on
screen. I know it isn't a problem with the scart sockets ...

Video+ question
Mon, 11 Feb 2008 10:29:58 -0000
I'm trying to get a Panasonic E85 to record from a Sky Digibox (Sony S760)
using Videoplus. The instructions say, "Press the numbered buttons to enter
a Videoplus number for a satellite station (e.g. Sky One) but I can only
find numbers for Analogue and Freeview stations in the listings. Where would
these numb ...

Audio dropping out on SkyHD
Sun, 10 Feb 2008 22:14:31 +0000
Recorded Time Team today, Channel 4 HD. When watching the recording
tonight the audio keeps dropping out. I lose it for 10 - 20 seconds at
a time every few minutes. Anyone else or is my box playing up?
