Altitude Records
Thu, 21 Dec 2006 22:06:57 +0200
Hi there!
We had a launch the past weekend and a few people had some bad luck with
their rockets. Two people set new record altitudes but had serious damage
on the rockets upon landing.
What is your rules' view on this? Do they qualify for the new records or
not?
Cheers!

It's been quiet for a while about the new fee structure for explosives
certificates and registration. Does anyone have an update?
I ask because my cert is up for renewal in January, and now would a
really good time to learn that the charges have all been scrapped!

Rocket size and visibility
Thu, 14 Dec 2006 17:48:15 GMT
Has anyone any data or maths for how far a rocket can be seen given its
size?
I do prefer not to loose sight of my rockets on the way up and as I'm
looking at higher power I need a guide to whats likely to wiz away too far.
