Hi Group,
Have been asked to put a DVR and bullet cam in a Taxi. Have sorced the kit
for the job from Hong Kong.What I want to know is how will I get power to
this? without making the battery in the taxi go flat. It is 12v kit but I am
not clued up on cars.
Another question could I mess the cars computer up ( ...

Dualpath fault

Hi
To tie up my last post the Guardtec 'Dual Path' fault turned out to be the
panels ability to identify the old Digi unit as Negative switching not
Positive.
A quick flip of protocols solved the problem.
Gardtec will include in next print of paperwork...(memories of 'Ace Battery
Low' warning )

Hi Micky,
Never used one so can't say for sure. The literature says you can but it
might be in some obscure location in the software.
If it doesn't have URN, can you not remove eng reset and make it customer.

galaxy 3-520 comms fails on sia

hi,
I keep getting comms fails 300 seconds after logging on engineering.
I'm using sia level 3 solely for sending open/close signals for groups
a5,a6. This means everything is off but 10=setting. a5,a6 have different
account numbers. The comms fail time is 300 seconds.
I've no idea what the panel is trying ...
