Someone on here is bound to have used some. :-)
Well anyone? I have a friend who is an Osteopath and is rather taken
with the idea of dictating case notes as she does an examination. I
suspect Dragon is the only viable solution. Can it be turned on/off by
voice command?
Any input welcome.

DVI-D input.

I've just started using the DVI-D input on my set and it doesn't sense the
arrival of the signal and switch to it, or switch on from standby. It does
for every other input including composite. Is it likely to be a fault or
by design?

Reporting Scotland tonight - what happened?

London tonight was shown until about 6.50 then Jacky Bird appeared
looking a bit flustered. We had 10 minutes of RS and Jacky apologised
for the truncated programme 'due to factors beyond our control'.
This was digital and analogue. Any idea what happened?

Problem with TV connected via HDMI

I have a Toshiba DLP TV (46WM48) Since connecting a Sky HD box via the HDMI
the TV is periodically losing the picture for a couple of seconds reverting
to a blue screen. The sound is not affected. I have tried 2 other TVs

Freeview signal changes disables early STBs

I have learnt, via anlogue radio, that the Freeview signal is being changed
to make it incompatible with some early STBs.

There's just been item on Radio 4's 'You and Yours' about the
incompatibility of the older Freeview STBs when the DTT service is
upgraded. It is estimated that 1% of the present digital viewers will be
affected. Is there any comprehensive list of those STBs which will no
longer work?
