The Grundig Freesat box has had a software download to allow the viewing of non-Freesat channels. However, you have to manually add channels by keying in the multiplex details. Oh dear. Can't see Joe Public liking that.

Digital connectors

I've bought an HD satellite receiver from CPC and it seems pretty good
running YPbPr into my Sagem DLP. It also has an HDMI output but the
connector is nothing like the one on the Sagem - or the HDMI one on my
computer. I wasn't aware there were different ones. Is it a bit like USB -
loads of different connectors ...
