Blurovision     Fri, 2 Oct 2009 21:21:56 +0100
I tuned in to the Jonathan Ross interview with Barbara Streisand on BBC one Freesat this evening and noticed that the picture quality was unusually soft and lacking in the usual detail for this program, switched over to HD on chan 108 and even in HD I don't think it looked near as good as the Ross show usually ...

Ripping out the tuner from an old TV     Wed, 30 Sep 2009 04:09:24 -0700 (PDT)
Perhaps an interesting one for all you techie gurus out there. . . I have an old CRT colour television (SONY KV-M2511U) and an old VCR (Hitachi VT-MX210EUK) along with a collection of bought films on video tape that I still watch (rarely). I also have a DVD player (not recorder). They are all connected by SCART ...

OT? : Poor Techniques - 1 : Rushed editing to get in the ad breaks     Tue, 29 Sep 2009 17:30:44 +0100

In the "Death Of A Stranger" episode shown over 28th & 29th Sep ...
