Whip battle

Why no comment from C4 commentators on the close up of the whip battle
between Dettori and Munro in the first race at Goodwood? Dettori seemed to
start it by hitting Munro's mount on the head a few times in the battle to
the line. Munro seemed to retaliate by hitting Dettori who seemed to grab
Munro's whip for ...
