Derby
Mon, 26 May 2008 18:34:49 +0100
I couldn't have Henrythenavigator, looks to have too much speed for the
Derby, I don't think he'll stay.
DR FREEMANTLE is my selection, I actually reckon Ryan Moore will choose DF,
Tartan Bearer's win in the Dante doesn't look that good to me, slow pace,
the horse that finished with him is not highly rated by M ...

Unbelievable!Zetland Gold Cup on a Monday @ REDCAR???A Class2 on the day
normally reserved for Donkeys on the Sand Class 6s through the card..
Well it deserves a mention :-)
3.50 FRAGRANCY shows remarkable consistency and on a handy mark if he gets

Curragh 4:40 Toirneach
Sun, 25 May 2008 16:30:12 +0100
A late one....TOIRNEACH is bred by Thunder Gulch out of a Country Pine
mare. That may not mean much but the damsire has a 25% strike-rate with
runners over the trip and the sire has a 17% record on firm ground so at
around the 9/1 mark looks a decent each-way bet with conditions in her
favour. Already a course ...

A couple for Sunday.
Sat, 24 May 2008 18:04:02 +0100
A couple of interesting horses to keep an eye on for Sunday.
At The Curragh Dermot Weld saddles the once run CENTRAL STATION who is
highly regarded & entered at Epsom, although by Indian Ridge, you'd expect
no more than a mile really, anyway, he's worth watching for tomorrow at
least.
J Gosden runs BRONZE CANN ...

Raceform data
Fri, 23 May 2008 11:24:41 GMT
Anyone know what's happened to the Raceformdata site?
Was ok about a week ago.
Pur raceformdata into Google and Google knows about it.
Whois gives an IP address but it is just a holding page.
URL not found seems to indicate DNS is fooked.
Bit of a mystery. ...

Friday Breeding Ratings
Fri, 23 May 2008 11:19:02 +0100
Something I am tinkering with at the moment, very early stages but
trying to pick out the top-clear rated or top two if there is not much
between them on breeding suitability to the distance. Of course it
doesn't take into account those sires that have a preference for fast or
soft ground but it's a start. I h ...
