Goodwood Today - Elusive Wave
Wed, 21 May 2008 19:56:16 +0100
Really, really impressed by ELUSIVE WAVE today in the fillies race. The
time was also very good, probably the best of the day in relation to all
the other races I but it was the manner of the performance that caught
the eye.
She looks a Royal Ascot winner in waiting to me and could be in line for
top juvenile ...

Wednesday Bets
Wed, 21 May 2008 10:37:31 +0100
Lots of well bred runners about today....most of the better ones appear
at Goodwood.
2:15 THE WHICH DOCTOR at 7/2 represents Jeremy Noseda who has an
excellent strike-rate here. The Medicean gelding out of a Shareef Dancer
mare is one of the best bred in the field but also has the form. Just
touched off in ...

Irish 1000 Guineas
Wed, 21 May 2008 09:10:56 +0100
OK, I can see why Nahoodh is favourite for this and 7/2 is tempting
after her unlucky run in the 1000 Guineas where I feel she would
probably have won with a clear run, she is certainly worth at least a
cover bet bet but one thing I can't figure is wht Saoirse Abu is shorter
than CARRIBEAN SUNSET in the bettin ...

Tuesday Standout - Al Cobra
Tue, 20 May 2008 11:29:11 +0100
Well, a poor day but for some reason I felt drawn to looking at the very
poor-looking maiden at Beverley in the 2:50 and I think there is a
standout on breeding that is Mark Johnston's Green Desert colt TARTAN
TIGHA at a best-priced 5/2. Ran well when 3rd last time in a fair enough
maiden in Essex and is bred ...

rough old Monday/Derby chances
Mon, 19 May 2008 17:05:22 +0100
It seems worse today, more than the normal crap.maybe because we have been
spoiled with great racing lately.
Its a bit difficult to watch some of the rubbish we get on Mondays after
witnessing BIG BROWN demolish yet another field in the Preakness on Saturday
and the likes of COASTAL BLUFF yesterday?
Still ...

Big Brown the wonder horse!
Sun, 18 May 2008 00:43:55 +0100
Bloody hell,if you thought BIG BROWNs victory in the Kentucky Derby was
impressive, you have to catch a recording of his victory in the 2nd leg of
the Triple Crown,The Preakness. He surely must be some kind of machine, the
Jockey hardle moved a muscle on him, maybe he whispered to him as they came
off the final tu ...
