Hi Everyone,
sorry I havent posted sooner just got my computer back today.
Went in for the treatment on Tuesday, but I have developed an absess on my
gum after a filling coming out so couldnt receive the treatment until its
sorted.
But I did find out a lot more about the treatment. It is a chemotherapy

New RA drug.

Went to see my consultant rheumatologist today and he mentioned that there
was a new drug being licensed in the UK next month that he thinks he may try
me on if the methotrexate doesn't work. I asked him the name of it but like
a fool I did not write it down and have forgotten what it's called :-/ .

I am due my first infusion of this on the 28th of March. Has anyone else
been on this? If so what reaction have you had or has anyone even heard any
reports of this drug? any help or feedback would be appreciated.

I am 60 and have OA in my hips...usuall story of steady getting worse over
last few years..
I used to walk a lot ...to and from work every day etc...as the OA has
become worse I have cut the walking and other wear-on-the-legs activity down
so in the last year or so I walk only short distances...much, much les ...
