has been in hossy a week..out today. Leaks in piping, plumbers in and out a
gaping hole in kitchen ceiling which I cannot afford to have repaired. Bills

You may recall my friends' son (aged 21) was diagnosed with cancer of the
kidney some weeks back.
They had the follow-up appt today following his keyhole biopsy - and the
tumor is benign. They don't want to remove his kidney at this stage due to
his age but will see him in 3 months time.
Phew!

.....but I'm feeling a lot betterer after my recent hossie spell. I can
breathe normally again, the back pain is almost gorn and I'm still taking
the tablets. I could mention "almost back to normal" but I know what you'll
all say to that:)))))
Oh yes, and I'll be giving phials of blood every fortnight for the ne ...

Mattress update.

Dreams? More like a nightmare!
Replacement mattress is 'A special order' therefore not available
until at least the 13th!
I asked the local 'Nightmare' store what the delivery time on a
similar mattress is and they say less than a week.

Yesterday, I received a warning of what is yet to come, if my old bones and
the weather people are right.
With the cold and biting wind, I found myself generally chilled, not just the
sudden feeling of exposure, but chilled as in winter.
It grabbed my poor old chest and I had difficuly breathing, so puffers ...
