If ever you should reply make sure you delete the cross posts in the
address bar otherwise you may find you have subscribed to newsgroups
you've never even heard of and you're 'on the record'.

So off we go to the pub for evening meal - I think Ray's still on holiday
;-)
Went to the one that all the posh people go in the next village. Had an
eventful journey there with 3 different vehicles nearly hitting the car and
Ray (he was always on the road with right of way) using pure skill to avoid
a coll ...

FAT32 To NTFS

I bought an external hard drive from Aldi recently. The file system is
FAT32. I would like to change it to NTFS.
I've seen advice on the web for doing this, but it is a bit indistinct.
Has anybody on the group done this?
I realise that I would have to back up my data and so forth........ ...

I'm back in circulation, for a while anyway.
After last time I posted I developed a cold I'd most probably picked up
at the doctors surgery. That threw all plans for better eating out of
the window and BP drifted again. Couldn't take decongestants because
they affect other medications, so had to suffer.
