For Firefox 3 - I cannot get this plugin to work at all. I've downloaded it

I am considering buying an e-book reader, I used to read a lot but most of
my favourite books are falling to pieces with constant use.
Has anybody used one of these or do you know anybody who has? Ideally it
should be waterproof but they don't seem to have reached that stage yet.
