IF A building inserts a ramp and entrance for a wheelchair but the ramp
is the incorrect gradient i.e. it may not be the right size as building
regs say a ramp should be is it still able to class itself as DDA compliment ...

It occurs to me from reading the ROW's thread started by Turtill, that
there's a lot of talk about disabled people being able to do whatever AB's
can do.
Now it occurs to me that a lot of those percesptions could be deeply
ingrained into our psyche by the continual use of the word DISability.

Many here know I am very involved in Rights of Way issues and an
anomaly needs addressing in the law. We are allowed to use Footpaths
in our wheelchairs but surprisingly it is not a "right" which I feel
to be discriminating against cripples. A RoW is used by AB's as a
"right" and we can also use one as a "right" p ...
