I thought to alert others here about a company that sold me a
defective mobility scooter .
They operate under the name of scootamart www.scootamart.com
( 0800 1691 160 ) and have amongst other things...
Made misleading claims about their warranty - which they claim was up
for 3 months , but now doesnt inc ...

I mean go elsewhere outside the uk and if so what scooter do you use ?
It seems my ultralite 355 might well have bad control unit as Sue
suggested as the other I bought is dud too ( TGA strata 3 ) Im not
left wondering what my options are..
Ideally - it would be nice if there was something that gave a bit more ...

I mean do you phone the police - what happens ?

Almost electrocuted while installing new batteries ( my apologies if
this is repost )

I just tried installing new batteries in my ultralite 355 and found
the wires on the other battery to spark up as soon as I tried to
attach the wire.
Im assuming the only way this could of happened was if that battery
had already been charged ?
