Payment methods
Sat, 23 Aug 2008 13:34:57 -0700 (PDT)
Ebay seems to push the "instant transfer from your bank account"
payment method to sellers. Why? Wouldn't most people prefer to use
their CC to make payments (via paypal) because of the protection the
CC gives them?

Ripped off by HK Ebay seller, what now?
Sat, 23 Aug 2008 19:03:55 +0100
Well it seems I have been ripped off by an Ebayer in Hong Kong, for which I
paid 12.00 fo one item and 14.00 for the second item ordered a couple of
days after, so having paid for both these items by Paypal and Ebay having
emailed me to say that this seller has been removed from Ebay for basically
being a fraudster ...

Cost of selling a ¡ê10 BIN item under the new fee structure!
Sat, 23 Aug 2008 08:39:11 +0100
54p in paypal fees
40p listing fee
¡ê1 in final value fees
That's almost 20% and far more than I'm prepared to pay.
Sorry Ebay , I think you've just lost another customer as this is the final
straw

Feebay - ?
Fri, 22 Aug 2008 22:16:43 +0100
Having unsuccesfully tried to find the description of (fe)ebays new fee
structure, I wonder if they have avoided earned themselves a new
nickname.
A couple of weeks ago I also think I saw something about paypay fees
should from July onwards be dumped on buyers instead of sellers, but I
have not seen any fee ad ...

Help to revise Gallery Pic
Fri, 22 Aug 2008 20:52:40 +0100
Hello
I host my own pictures. Stupidly, I've just loaded an auction with the wrong
(but still live on another listing) gallery picture.
I've tried everything in 'revise your item' but can't find a way of putting
in the correct URL.
Any help appreciated.

Free ? from Payal, woohoo
Fri, 22 Aug 2008 11:43:17 +0100
I just looked on my Paypal account and got ¡ê145 (2 x ¡ê72.68) from Paypal for
qualifying merchant rate transactions today whatever they are, didn't get an
email notifying me though. Not arguing over free money! I wonder how often
this has happened and I haven't noticed due to no email - anyone else had
this?
