Am I being scammed?
Thu, 28 Aug 2008 18:30:42 +0100
I sell item to person with one feedback. He lives in France and I send the
item airmail. A week later he tells me he has moved house and the address on
the paypal payment was the old one. He tells me he will send more postage
when the item arrives back.
I tell him its no problem but in the meantime I ask him ...

Paypal not linked to ebay
Thu, 28 Aug 2008 14:15:46 +0100
Had a strange experience other day. I have been using ebay for quite a few
years, over 1000+ feedback. The other day whilst trying to purchase a BIN
item (which had immediate payment) I couldn't buy it because my paypal email
address was not linked to ebay. WTF is going on here? I had to follow a
link and ...

eBay on R4
Thu, 28 Aug 2008 13:34:50 +0100
On 'You and Yours' today, approx halfway through the programme, there
was an item on eBay's shift of seller and buyer pricing with some weasel
from eBay and a couple of sellers / buyers.
I only heard the first minute or so, but I will listen again via the BBC
website.
Given the abysmal standard of much of 'Y&Y' r ...

Why do Ebay allow sellers to continue ripping people off?
Thu, 28 Aug 2008 01:46:22 +0100
A friend of mine was recently ripped off by a seller on Ebay from Hong Kong.
He paid for the items and never received them. This seller was recently
banned from Ebay only to appear again almost immediately using a similar
name selling the same items and using the exact same advert. How come Ebay
allow this to hap ...
