Channel 5 style meaningless Top Ten.......;

I know we frown on shallow debate within the environs of
uk.music.guitar.......... BUT
the kids were flicking through the MP3 discs in me motor and pulling a face

Thu, 3 Jul 2008 10:49:05 +0100
Our guitarist wants us to go to Glasgow on Saturday to try guitars. Nothing
specific in mind.
Can anyone suggest (and give location) where the good ones are, and which
ones not to bother with?
Jose

Classic, Metal, and Bass), L6 digital lead, all manuals, and mini XP power
supply, and boxes.
Apart a teeny chip on the the 300's side (stupidly done by me moving a ...

FS: Yamaha Nylon String electro-acoustic
Wed, 02 Jul 2008 16:56:00 GMT
Yamaha APX 5NA, about six years old. I need to thin out the guitars a
little, and this one isn't getting as much playing as it should.
The unplugged sound is good, although it has a thin body, so it's not as

Longer strings needed
Mon, 30 Jun 2008 12:25:21 -0500
Hi,
Does anyone know which make of strings are longest?
I need to restring my Epiphone Zephyr Blues deLuxe, basically a 1950's
ES5 copy. This guitar is very long and has a frequensator tailpiece
with a very short bass section. This means the D string has to be at
least 39 inches, or 1 metre, long. I've got ...
