Um, er, well....
So, I'm coming to Buxton (I would have booked a train ticket today but
I can't do that more than 3 months in advance - bummer), but I am
confused by the whole matrix/planning thing.
Is the whole playing thing organised tightly in advance? Does
everybody know what they'll be playing and when?

Anyone here own a Boss RC2 looper?

Having just bought one myself, I find the level of the drum track to
be way too loud. Going Strat ->Looper->Clean amp, I have to set the
drum level pot just off the end stop, any more than that and it's
overbearing.
Poor design IMHO, and one that is destined to be modded with a
resistor or two!

I'm sad to announce that Ted Weber, amp guru and loudspeaker manufacturer
par excellence has passed away whilst awaiting a lung transplant.
I had occasion to correspond with Ted on a number of occasions. He had a
great sense of humour and a quick wit.

Took my car for an MOT today. Whist there I noticed a Morris Moinor saloon
being fettled by on of the shop guys. It had proper bumpers with uprights
