Plugin to extract centre voice/instrument from mix?

Can anyone recommend a free plugin that does a convincing job of extracting the
centred lead instrument/vocal in an audio file without too much damage to the mix?
Presumably it would need some clever compensating EQ built in to rescue the bass
etc

Bass V-amp pro?

I was planning a bass combo purchase this summer, but have had to spend
most of the cash on new springs for my campervan.
It then occurred to me that I have a big PA rack with a 2.4kw amp and
speakers to match, and due to recent changes, 3-4u of spare space in the
rack. Which made me think about the idea of tryi ...

Whats your take on the chords . For some reason im not sure mine is
right . Im capo first fret , hitting a three note G and A whilst
letting the open A ring . Then on themain chords using Cm7 Gm7 Fm7 .
Is that cool ? ...
