"Burglarised" really gets my goat. Is that actually a word?!?! Our US cousins seem to have been using it for years, I heard it in a film the other night from 1998. Burgled! You've been burgled! "Burglarised" suggests that they've been transformed into a burglar, to me. Am I wrong?? :-) ...
