Crowdie And Cream
Thu, 01 Oct 2009 22:34:57 +0100
This wonderful series had just been repeated on BBC4, and I'm taking

dramatisation of childhood memories growing up on 1930s Harris, in the
Outer Hebrides.
In Gaelic with English subt ...

Licensing Act and Wikipedia
Thu, 01 Oct 2009 13:23:32 -0700
It might help if someone with *verifiable* information about the

the fact that the Act "has been criticised".
The topic is "Licensing Act 2003".

Heads-up for a new trio in the South...
Fri, 25 Sep 2009 02:44:39 +0100

incredibly brilliant Michael Marra. Words fail me in describing how
highly I think of his songwriting, and his performance of those songs;
so I will (for once!) not attempt to describe what I cannot. Just be
sad that you weren't there. He is ...
