Johnny Collins RIP
Mon, 6 Jul 2009 12:32:00 +0100
I just had a call from my friend Sarah. News has come via Bob
Hambleton...
Johnny Collins has died whilst in (I think) Poland on a singing trip.
Apparently he felt unwell and died of heart failure. Joyce has family
and friends with her and says at least he died doing what he loved.
Another good man gone.

Sun, 05 Jul 2009 13:39:59 +0100

up-to-date that way, and maybe some sort of community will
emerge that does this in a more decentralized way than those

Licensing - Busking
Fri, 3 Jul 2009 15:47:02 +0100
The following from Hamish Birchall.
Should it be a potential criminal offence merely to sing in public, even if
no-one complains? Despite government advice, some councils still believe
the answer is 'yes'.
Uncharitable souls might agree, but the government is quite sensitive on
this issue. Over the years ...
