Have any of you watched "New Tricks" on BBC1 Monday nights ??
the title song is purported to have been written by one of the cast [
OFS has caught up with me and I can't remember his name ] :-(( but
this music keeps ringing a bell with me, saying "The Travelling
Wilberries" I can't recall the title ...

Information required. Shropshire poem.

Years ago in The Cider House Quatt near Bridgnorth, Shropshire. I had
occasion one summers evening, in the car park, to hear a recitation of a
famous Shropshire rural poem, The Country Shit. I have been trying to
find either a recording or a printed copy of this poem without success.
