Moving home
Thu, 31 May 2007 06:52:56 GMT
I'm moving home in the next week or so, do I need to ring Sky to get the
dish re-installed (the new house doesn't have an existing dish) or can I go
through my local aerial/satellite installer?
How much do Sky charge for doing an address change?

Apprentice fixed
Thu, 31 May 2007 07:38:18 +0000
I have been a fan of The Apprentice but last night's hilarious episode
confirms to me that the weekly sackings are fixed. Mr Nice-but-dim team
leader performed so embarrassingly badly that he was nailed on to be
fired but Sugar instead chose to sack the only female in the team - and
probably its best performer. Fo ...

Sky +
29 May 2007 03:53:29 -0700
I am an ex-subscriber to Sky and still have the dark blue Viewing Card
that enables me to see all the Free To View Channels on my old Digibox

added most of the FTV channels, with the exception of Channels 4 and

HD over DVI with HDCP?
Tue, 22 May 2007 14:57:42 GMT
Does the current SkyHD box allow HD over DVI if the monitor supports
HDCP over DVI? (monitor is 1680*1050)
The Faq on Sky's page says it does, but I'd sooner believe the info in
here ;)

Recording channel 5
Mon, 21 May 2007 19:03:36 +0100
Hi - I have a problem recording channel 5 in that the sound is
intermittent to the extent that the programmes are almost unwatchable.
This only happens when recording channel 5. Watching it live there's no
problem and there's no problem recording other channels. Any ideas would
be appreciated.
Many thanks.
