Sky+ question

I have Sky+ at home and am going away to stay in a property which has a
normal Sky freesat setup. I am going to take my Sky+ digibox and wondered
what functionality I will get when I plug it in there. Obviously not full
Sky+ but presumably I will be able to watch one channel and possibly record
it as well eith ...

Hi
I have sky+ in my front room and a Thompson digibox in another part of
the house , this is fed by a single cable from the dish . Can i put a
PVR to the digiox to record
1)one channel and watch another
2)just record one channel but get it to auto record through some front
end software like sky+ ?

Sky anytime

The other morning I noticed that the film "Lucky number slevin" was
available to view on sky anytime, so I thought I would give it a go. It
starts with the usual ads and trailers that sky always put on the front of
programmes, so I was sat expecting to be asked to enter my pin no. as the
film has a rating of 1 ...

Sky+ Setup

What is the optimum setting for Sky+ so that consecutive recordings are
recorded please?
If I record 2 half hour programs at say 7.30 and two more at say 8.00 the
later programs miss off the start or (much worse) the earlier programs stop
recording early thus missing off the end.
Should I use "automatic" ...

I am thinking of gettting Sky HD.
Choosing an HD TV is a bit confusing. Is there somewhere that explains what
to look for eg do I go for plasma or LCD or could someone recomend a good HD
TV?

Hi I have just had sky installed and of course cannot get near it to
experiment. However how do I get digital teletext as when pressing the text
button on the remote I get the message to use the tv teletext?
Or should I just go and take the remote off of my wife and try it myself?
