Telephone line connected to box

It really frustrates me that we have to have the telephone line connected to
the sky boxes at all times with multiroom.
Just trying to setup my phone line ready for tomorrow's extra install and
its a right royal pain. Because the phoneline is downstairs and the box
will be upstairs, I have had to trail the ext ...

Sky+ box - got a refurb box, should I complain?

I cancelled my Sky subs in April (after 4 years), and then received a number
of marketing calls from Sky encouraging me to return - in June I agreed over
the phone to return because they offered me a free Sky+ box with free
installation within 4 days, no new contract to sign, and three months
half-price subscr ...

Is it possible to extend the programmed recording time set from the planner
for just one programme or can it just be changed as a system wide setting.

Having just installed the above the box seems to have an annoying click
going on inside.
The fan appears to be fine.

Sky+ Recordings

Hi,
Does the Sky + recorder work on the Advertised time for a programme or on
the time the programme is actually broadcast? I only ask as one of the
programmes I watch on Eurosport overran by 3/4 of an hour last week and next
week I'll be recording it.

When my son was at home I had a multiroom account and he had an ordinary Sky

Sky Boradband Router issues

I've recently got Sky broadband Max, and get 10-12Mbps on a wired link
to it which is nice. But if I go wifi I get a maximum of 3.5Mbps. The
router and laptop are set to 802.11g mode, and full performance, not
battery saver.
I've asked on a router group and someone told me that it could be due to

Hi,
I'm currently experiencing problems with some recordings that don't record
when using the series link option. For example I've got the Bill ITV1 on
series link for the 3rd time in a month its failed to record and removed
itself from future planned recordings.

Just to let you know you *do not* to pay a mutiroom to get Sky+
functionality on both boex, just any kind of account on 1 box.
I've just gone down from 2 sports & Multiroom (¡ê48) down to 2 mixes
(¡ê15) and Sky+ works on both <G>

The current set up is as follows;
1 Dish
1 Digibox in lounge
1 Digibox in daughters bedroom (extra ¡ê15/month)
My other daughter has moved,(there is a dish there) and I would like to give
her my standard digibox (lounge) and buy a sky+ box on ebay to replace it.
Would I need a new LNB ?
