BBC Radio Frequencies on DSAT

A post on another NG stated that BBC Radio Scotland could not be accessed on
a Sky box in Ireland,even in the 'Other Channels' mode.Have the frequencies
changed again,what are the current tuning details for all the BBC radio
channels?

After reading a post from you earlier on in another thread, I noticed that
you mentioned the "Sony" "V" series tv's.
I myself am thinking of the purchase of the KDL32V2500 (50Hz) or the
KDL32D3000 (100Hz) but I can't really see if the latter justifies the extra

failed recording + deleted recordings

Not going well so far on Sky HD.
I had two programmes recorded and they have gone missing. They were there as
I had started to view one of them the previous day.
Then I had one recording fail due to out of disc space, yet I have 98% free.
Are these common problems?

does sky + have to be plugged into phone line as i have engineers installing
and they say it has to,
had normal sky now for 7 years and never plugged into phone line,
i thought it was for interactive only so will un plug it when they have gone

cancelling sky hd

After getting HD installed last week I think I am going to have to cancel.
I was assured several times over the phone that I would be paying only ¡ê10
extra per month but now it turns out I am going to be paying ¡ê20 a month
extra bringing the monthly cost (with broadband) to ¡ê73.

On your Sky Remote:
Press SERVICES
Choose SYSTEM SETUP
Then ADD CHANNELS
type in these details via your remote:
Frequency(GHz) 12.480
Polarization V
Symbol Rate(Mbaud) 27.5
FEC 2/3
Then select FIND CHANNELS
12005 at the top is the Big Brother transmission 24/7
All the rest come up as Channel 4 +1. ...

HD Sky is it worth it?

Hi,
I've recently purchased a new HD TV. I currently have Sky+.
Can anyone give me their opinion on whether its worth upgrading to Sky HD
now or is it best to wait a bit?
