[OT] SG1 and Atlantis - What order do I watch in?

With the imminent UK DVD release of SG1 season 8 and Atlantis Season 1, I
was wondering what order I should watch them in.
Should I watch all of season 8 of SG1 first and then Atlantis, or Atlantis
first?
Or does it not matter, the shows not affecting the other?
I understand they were broadcast simultan ...

Just read a Trek novel...

Just finished the first Trek book I've read in a couple of years- Jeffrey
Lang's Immortal Coil, which I'd picked up for 50p in a charity shop last
week along with a Voyager book, The Nanotech War. It was OK actually,
certainly up to the standards of the average DW book (that's good for a Star
Trek!)
