New Lt Leslie sightings!

Upon re-Watching First Contact

Not sure if this has ever cropped up, but I think I have spotted a
glaring problem.
At the end, when the Vulcan ship has detected the warp signature of
the Phoenix, and the Enterprise crew has witnessed first contact,
Picard orders the crew to be beamed up.
Would the Vulcan ship have detected a transporter workin ...
