How about this for a film/book/TV series?
A volunteer on a preserved railway goes in for duty one day as normal,
but somehow finds he is in a different historical timeline, and it is
now a *real* railway, although the year is still 2007. Many other
things are different as well, in fact it is more like the 1950 ...

and started looking up stuff about the show on the Web. Some of the
