Cloughie!
Thu, 22 Nov 2007 11:56:50 -0000
If Brian Clough got the job after Ramsey left I reckon the whole structure
of the England set up would have changed for the better and the
ramifications of that change would still be felt today!

Why oh why did we have to lose
Thu, 22 Nov 2007 08:39:50 +0000
Another two bl**dy days of f*kin footy analysis ahead....
Exec Summary:
The England team's crap at footy
The players are over-paid and have no major incentive to win as they get
paid whatever the result
The Manager couldn't sort it 'cos he's useless
The FA is a bunch of wimpy old farts
There - 10 seconds ...

Annoying reasons why the figures are hemorrhaging?
Sun, 18 Nov 2007 13:55:26 -0800 (PST)
1) Endless advertising, with loud music making it hard to understand
the 'message'.
2) Endlessly replaying sports commentaries, again with loud
background 'music' I haven't actually counted, but I'd wager the
numbers go over a hundred per day, regularly.
3) Victoria Derbyshire, Alibongo and Bacon, a picni ...

Follow up to Feedback
Sun, 18 Nov 2007 12:18:39 -0800 (PST)
The opening part of the programme dealt with the complaints about R5
Live. Bob Shannon, 5 Live controller was interviewed. He admitted
listening figures had fallen sharply since 2001, but didn't see a
problem with this, and said there had actually been an upturn for the
last quarter. The presenter of Feedback wa ...

Is it me, or is she far less annoying in the Drive slot?
She had a very amusing interlude, this evening, with Jimmy Saville,
who was mugged by a young girl at a fancy hotel and claimed he enjoyed
the experience!

Why not patronise the Jocks...

...and have a "Canny wee Scottish Lassie" as 5's financial expert?
After all, Alison Mitchell and Lynne Faulds Wood carried the saltire
with distinction.
Who is Pauleen McAll? From where, and why did she appear? I think we
should be told.

My offering, wgich certainly won't appear:
Whatever next? Miss Huggy World?
This isn't Children's Hour. Just because the Bolton Battleaxe has
reproduced (Hardly a unique occurrence) the rest of us have to suffer
for it.
Huggies v Terry nappies?
The smell of shit is all-pervasive.

Only one winner. She hopped over the line, way ahead.
Derbyshite had an open door, too.

Minor royal in blackmail plot is named...
Tue, 30 Oct 2007 19:30:43 GMT
Driving home this even from work and listening to 5 Live, I heard it
reported that the name of the minor royal at the centre of the current
blackmail/sex allegation is already being mentioned across the internet,
although they were careful not to mention any name.
Curiosity aroused, it took me all of one minu ...
