Interesting to hear Andy Davis having to cover for Jonathan Ross at *very*
short notice in the Saturday morning show. However, his 'guest', Dara
O'Briain (sp?) seemed to take over the show very quickly and Davis seemed
to revert to his usual second-fiddle role. I wonder if that was the

Critical List has been wonderful and sadly last night's was "the last ever
in this form" although parts will be taken to his new show.
Radio 2 is being ruined (watch the ratings!) as some of the best programmes
are being taken off...change for change's sake...not progress.

Said only 5 staff at Radio 2 at 5.10 pm! Suppose 5 is better than none which
happens at many ILR stations!
Also said the emails have crashed.

Is this what people really want from a Drivetime show? And, if it
involves loads of phone-ins, won't that mean even more people using their
mobiles while driving and defying the law?

Nice to hear JI on Drivetime tonight.
Did I hear him mention that the Mystery Voice is being axed? Bit of a
shame to lose such an 'institution', but I suppose it had got a bit tired,
and Evans was always going to want to do new things.
