Have a listen (it may be me as I was out running with my Walkman at the time

Eurovision scoring changes for 2006

Apparently, to speed up the scoring (which takes nearly as long as the
songs), points 1-7 will appear automatically on the scoreboard, with the
country rep (Lorraine Kelly for the UK?) announcing only the winners of 8,
10 and 12 points.
Pity really, the scoring is normally the best bit..
